Meet the band

Bandleader and bassist Jim Dant had just moved to the Bay Area, eager to start a band like the one he had back home. After grabbing coffee with countless musicians on 19th Avenue in San Francisco, he finally found a trusty crew: Tiffany on vocals, Rick and Michael Rose both on guitars, and Dave on drums.

As luck would have it, 19th Avenue Roadwork had their debut performance at San Francisco’s very first Sunset Night Market - not as a side performance, but as the headlining act on main stage. How this happened is beyond most of us, yet the success of the band’s first show became the first of many more. From senior homes and pizza parlors, to flea markets and 3-day retreats, the band has performed at a variety of venues around the Bay. They’ve enjoyed playing at each and every one of them - hopefully they’ll get to play for you too.

Update: As of 2025, our band welcomes Mark as our keyboard player and Dusky as our drummer (we miss you Dave!) We look forward to having them play with us for many gigs to come!
